Me and Martin did some recording this week - we recorded these eight songs on Tuesday, in about five hours at the Rocket studio in East Croydon:

  1. The Devil has two hands
  2. Kendo Nagasaki
  3. I’m Ever So Slightly Spontaneous When It Comes To a Crisis
  4. Been a private detective for seventeen months
  5. We’re here for duration
  6. The Angriest dog in the world
  7. I’m gonna go to bed and when I wake up I’m gonna be someone else
  8. breaking the Law (the Judas Priest song)

and here are some pictures showing us recording them:

Not sure what we're gonna do with the recordings yet - I guess I'll see what they sound like once they are mixed. There are some old favourites there, and a few songs that are on the two CDs I've done, but obviously with the cello added, which makes them sound a bit different. We shall see...

Other news: Got a gig lined up with Schwervon! in brighton in December, which should be a good one, and another one lined up in December in Oxford, which should also be a good one. And I noticed that Gareth from Los Campesinos! said this on their blog, which is very nice:

"Nosferatu D2 are one of my favourite bands of all time, and it’s a huge shame that they’re no longer together and that they didn’t achieve more whilst they were. Some of the best, most hateful lyrics you’ll ever hear. We had the pleasure of playing with them at their last ever show in 2007, at London’s Spitz venue. Ben now releases music under the name Superman Revenge Squad"

And it was my birthday this week too.
